XENOLITHS FROM THE NORTH KARELIA BATHOLIT H - RELICS OF THE ARCHEAN GREENSTONE-BELT VOLCANITES

The regularities of spatial distribution and petrochemical features of supracrustal rocks of xenoliths from Tavayarvinsky diorite-plagiogran ite batholith (North Karelia) have been considered. Supposition has be en made that the xenoliths were formed as a result of fragmentation of a complex magmatic body. The rock set and its petrochemical and petro logical features are comparable to a volcanic series of the Archean gr eenstone betls. Later-Archean volcanites of North Karelia are the most probable prototype for this complex.
