Abstract
After recalling the basic principles of the heuristically based genera lized perturbation theory (HGPT) its application to the sensitivity an alysis in the thermohydraulic field is described, basing on the physic al model used in COBRA IV Code.The methodology is applied to a number of significant cases. The results show the validity of the method and its unique role in drastically reducing the calculation time. In all c ases the sensitivity coefficients so obtained resulted in very good ag reement with respect to the values calculated via direct calculations.
