Abstract
Starting from ZBLA and ZBLAN glasses, the following substitutions were implemented: CdF2/BaF2, KF/BaF2 in ZBLA, KF/NaF and RbF/NaF in ZBLAN 14, PbF2/BaF2 in ZBLAN 20. Basic glass compositions are: 57ZrF4-34BaF2 -5LaF3-4AlF3, 54ZrF4-24BaF2-4LaF3-4AlF3-14NaF and 52ZrF4-20BaF2-4LaF3- 4AlF3-20NaF. The evolution of physical properties versus composition i s reported. Some non-linear evolutions were observed.
