Abstract
The agostic interaction between the alkenyl CH groups and the Zr cente rs is the most notable feature of the dinuclear complex 1, which is fo rmed from the alkyne complex [Cp2Zr(thf)(Me3SiC=CSiMe3)] upon thermal loss of THF. In this transformation a H atom is transferred from the C p ligand to the alkyne ligand.
