Abstract
An attempt has been made to compare the relative merits of Hind et al. , Frenkel, and Naidu relations for theoretical evaluation of viscosity in binary liquid mixtures of 1.1,2,2-tetrachlorethane with benzene, t oluene, p-xylene, cyclohexane and acetone at 303.15 K. The study has b een extended to investigate the intermolecular interaction between unl ike molecules in terms of excess free energy of mixing.
