Abstract
A new nonglycosidic secoiridoid, ligstral and two new secoiridoid digl ucosides, angustifolioside A[6''-O-(beta-D-glucopyranosyl)-oleuropein] and angustifolioside B [6''-O-(beta-D-glucopyranosyl)-ligstroside], w ere isolated from the methanolic extract of the leaves of Fraxinus ang ustifolia along with the two known secoiridoid glucosides, ligstroside and oleuropein. The chemical structures of the isolated compounds wer e established by chemical and spectral evidence.
