Abstract
The free osteofascio-cutaneous fibular transplant is a direct developm ent of the free fibular bone graft used from 1983 in reconstructive su rgery of the long bones [1-3]. In 1989, Hidalgo [2] was the first to p ublish a method of reconstruction of the mandible by composite free fi bular transplants. The aim of this study was to specify the anatomy of the osteofascio-cutaneous fibular graft and particularly of the vesse ls to the skin. The sensory innervation of this transplant is describe d.
