Abstract
Disilanes (1a-e) react with 1,3-dienes (2a-d) in the presence of a pal ladium catalyst to give dimerization-double silylation products (3a-k) regio- and stereoselectively in high yields. Pd(DBA)2 shows high cata lytic activity in DMF or dioxane as the solvent at room temperature. N o crossover silylations occur.
