A technique has been developed to construct radioecological maps of th
e territories polluted after Chernobyl accident. It assumes constructi
on of a series of maps in one and the same scale to perform structure
division of factors of radionuclides migration in the environment. Com
bination of these maps and a global radioecological data included into
a geoinformation system allows one to perform a valid spatial extrapo
lation of radioecological models as well as to recommend correct land
tenure, making decisions, and risk estimating. A series of maps of a B
ryansk region with 1:200 000 scale was choosen to demonstrate the desc
ribed technique.
