A. Boronkaczmarska et al., CHOSEN IMMUNOLOGICAL INDEXES IN THE BILE OF PATIENTS WITH CHOLELITHIASIS, International journal of immunopathology and pharmacology, 6(2), 1993, pp. 93-97
The aim of the paper was to evaluate chosen immunological indices in t
he gallbladder bile. 33 women ranging from 33 to 70 years old included
into the study were divided into following groups: group I (18 patien
ts) with choletithiasis, group II (15 patients) with viral hepatitis B
. The level of IgG, IgA, sIgA, IgM, C3 and C4 complement components as
well as the level of immunological complexes in the bile received dur
ing cholecystectomia (group I) or passage of the tube into the duodenu
m (group II) were determined. The positive correlation of estimated pa
rameters was observed in both mentioned groups. These results indicate
the difference in analysed immunological indices in the bile of patie
nts with acute viral or chronic liver disease.
