CHANGE OF LIPOSOME PHOSPHOLIPID MEMBRANE FLUIDITY UPON ACTION OF BACILLUS-THURINGIENSIS DELTA-ENDOTOXIN

We studied release of the fluorescent calceine marker from egg-lecitin e liposomes under action of intact delta-endotoxin from Bacillus thuri ngiensis var. israilensis, and hydrolised preparation of delta-endotox in from Bacillus thuringiensis var. kurstaki together with the motiona l parameters of 5- and 12-doxil radical probes in the liposomal membra ne. The yield of the non-penetrating fluorescent marker was shown to b e a sensitive indicator of the disturbance of the membrane barrier fun ction.
