Mdc. Claramonte et al., MODIFICATION OF THE GENERAL-METHOD OF DETERMINATION OF THE HEAT-CAPACITY OF LIQUIDS IN HIGH-PRESSURE CRUCIBLES BY DIFFERENTIAL SCANNING CALORIMETRY, Thermochimica acta, 222(2), 1993, pp. 203-207
With the aim of assuring a hermetic seal in high pressure crucibles, a
teflon membrane has been introduced in order to allow for the determi
nation of the heat capacity of liquids in the temperature range from 2
5 to 225-degrees-C. The influence of this membrane on the heat capacit
y values for water, methanol, i-propanol, n-hexane, toluene and dimeth
ylsulphoxide was investigated.
