Abstract
Solubility parameters have been determined for oleyl alcohol, 2-octyl dodecanol, isopropyl myristate, isopropyl palmitate, di(2-ethyl hexyl) adipate, dibutyl adipate, decyl oleate, oleyl oleate and propylene gl ycol dipelargonate, all of which are frequently used in pharmaceutical preparations. These parameters have been determined from measurements of vapour pressure and heat capacity obtained by differential scannin g calorimetry.
