SPECTRAL CHANGES IN HOMOGENEOUS MEDIA - A QUASI-OPTICAL APPROACH

In the past decade spectral changes depending on the spatial coherence of the source have been described by a cross-spectral density method. It is shown that for Gaussian-Schell model sources a quasi-optical ap proach is valid which uses Gaussian beams and ABCD matrices to describ e the optical system.
