Mj. Kern et al., APPLICATION OF INTRACORONARY FLOW VELOCITY FOR DETECTION AND MANAGEMENT OF OSTIAL SAPHENOUS-VEIN GRAFT LESIONS, Catheterization and cardiovascular diagnosis, 30(1), 1993, pp. 5-10
Ostial lesions of saphenous vein grafts can be difficult to assess by
angiography. A physiologic approach to the selection and recanalizatio
n of ostial lesions in saphenous vein graft may be advantageous to ove
rcome limitations of angiography. To assist in identifying favorable p
hysiology and facilitate procedural decision making, the use of corona
ry flow velocity measurements with a Doppler-tipped 0.018-inch angiopl
asty flowire in three particularly difficult patients with varying typ
es of saphenous vein graft aorto-ostial narrowings is reported. (C) 19
