The electron impact dissociative ionisation of H-2 and D2 Molecules, a
t 40 and 100 eV electron impact energy, has been studied using the tim
e of flight technique, to determine the whole kinetic energy distribut
ions of protons and deuterons, including the low energy part of the di
stributions. The contribution of autoionising states to the dissociati
ve ionisation is discussed.
