Abstract
Hybridoma cells grown in the presence of different reactor surfaces we re affected by the reactor surface properties. Cell growth rate and ce ll attachment were affected differently. To explain this observed effe ct a mechanism involving specific adhesion (mediated by fibronectin) o f the cells to the reactor surfaces was proposed and tested.
