Abstract
Methyl phenyl sulfide and cyclohexanone were oxidized to (R)- methyl p henyl sulfoxide and caprolactone by cyclohexanone monooxygenase. The r eactions were carried out in a membrane reactor with the use of the ma cromolecular coenzyme poly (ethylene glycol)-NADP. Coenzyme regenerati on was carried out with the 2-propanol/alcohol dehydrogenase system.
