TEMPERAMENT AS A DETERMINANT OF THE CONTE NT AND THE STRUCTURE OF THEMEANING OF SELF

Authors directed their research at the role of temperament traits in f orming of the meaning of self, namely from the point of view of its co ntent and structure. The research was carried out in the group of univ ersity students. The subgroups investigated were constructed on the ba sis of the temperament dimensions of extraversion (introverts-extraver ts) and neuroticism (stable - unstable). The results expose the existe nce of specific differences in both the content and the structure of m eaning of self in dependence on the temperament traits. The difference s are discussed in detail.
