Abstract
Fault-tolerant structures in error-correcting number systems (ECNS) ar e introduced. Principles and methods of error detection/correction and reconfiguration are described, proved, and analyzed for generalized E CNS, including logical, probabilistic, and circuit-engineering models of fault-tolerant digital processing.
