Abstract
2,3,4,6-Tetra-O-acetylglycopyranosyl bromide was reacted with active m ethylene compounds under solid-liquid phase-transfer catalyst conditio ns, involving anhydrous potassium phosphate as base and TBAB as cataly st in acetonitrile at room temperature, to give the corresponding tetr a-O-acetylglycoside 2 in moderate yields.
