Abstract
The reaction of tris(dimethylamino)phosphine with MHFe(CO)(4) (M = Na, K) is described. Instead of a CO-substitution at the Fe atom, a forma l Me(2)N-substitution occurs at the P atom. Simultaneously, the Collma n-type reagent M(2)Fe(CO)(4) is produced in good yield.
