The method of production of gas-turbine engine disk and shaft forgings
of KhN73MBTYu (EI698VD) and KhN77TYuR (EI437BUVD) medium-alloy high-t
emperature strength nickel alloys includes a standard heat treatment i
ncluding double solution treatment (the first solution treatment from
temperatures 50-70-degrees-C higher than the temperature of complete s
olution of gamma'-phase and the second from temperatures 50-70-degrees
-C below it) and aging. In a number of cases after the standard heat t
reatment, semifinished products have reduced strength or plasticity. I
n this work two variations of heat treatment for increasing and stabil
izing the mechanical properties of KhN73MBTYu and KhN77TYuR forgings a
re proposed.
