Abstract
The structure, abrasive wear resistance, and mechanical properties are studied for a large group of manganese steels containing 0.47-1.45% C , 4-10% mn, 0.5-2.9% V, after quenching from different temperatures. O ptimum steel alloying versions and appropriate hardening schedules are suggested which provide an increase in these characteristics.
