Quantitative chromatography was used to investigate the kinetics of co
nsumption of triphosphate ions, accumulation of monophosphate ions, an
d accumulation and consumption of diphosphate ions during isothermal h
olding (t = 200-degrees-C) of solutions in the Na5P3O10-H3PO4-H2O syst
em containing additions of urea and water-soluble salts of copper(II),
zinc(II), tin(II), and chromium(III).
