Dielectric spheroidal systems with zero charge density contained in a
piecewise uniform electrostatic field are considered. For such systems
, the Gibbs equation is deduced for a set of stable-equilibrium states
with all the possible values of the entropy, the volume, the electric
-field magnitude and the ratio between the semi-axes of the system. Mo
reover, temperature changes in quasi-static processes with constant en
tropy and volume are evaluated.
