Abstract
The results of the study of synoptic-range spectra of the currents in the POLYMODE area are presented. Multiple time series of velocity with missing observation modelling is suggested by the autoregressive proc esses of optimal order p (AR-models). It is shown that the synoptic ma ximum at periods between 50 and 70 days is observed in the estimated s pectra of high-order (p greater-than-or-equal-to 15) approximating AR- models.
