Abstract
Synthesis and in vitro biological evaluation for antileishmanial activ ity of a series of pyrido[1,2-a]pyrimidines, phenanthrolines are repor ted. Amongst pyrido-pyrimidines, compounds 6,7 & 9 have been found to possess promising activity. However, all the tested phenanthroline der ivatives exhibit moderate to good anti-leishmania activity.
