Abstract
A physical dipole model of a mica crystal is proposed. Using this mode l, variations in mica crystal surface conductivity with temperature an d with variations in water vapour concentration in the air are describ ed. It is shown with the help of the Hall effect that above 670 K elec trolytic conductivity changes into electronic conductivity. (C) 1997 E lsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
