Abstract
This article analyzes the evolution of plant cover of the Northern Bla ck Sea region resulting from the anthropogenic factor. It gives the dy namics of processes of humus formation, biogeochemical transformations , and soil erosion. The twin evolutionary phases are distinguished, la sting 2600, 7550, 90-110, and 40 years, which reflect the polyclimax n ature of steppe ecosystems.
