Abstract
Field and angular-dependent resistivity measurements of Kwok et al and lye et al are discussed and compared with the predictions of Ivlev an d Kopnin, describing the resistive losses due to the motion of flux ki nks in layered anisotropic superconductors. The data are shown to be o nly generally consistent with the flux-kink theory, but are described in detail using a model which includes the effects of defects which gi ve rise to phase slip and renormalized anisotropic flux-flow resistivi ties.
