Abstract
Backward stimulated diffusion scattering of radiation with a speckle-p attern varying in time is studied in photo-retractive crystals with th e diffusion mechanism of nonlinearity. It is shown that the process ef ficiency and the share of the reverted power depend on the ratio of th e coherence time and the time of the dielectric relaxation of the medi um.
