Abstract
It is shown both theoretically and experimentally that the optimal geo metry of the speckle beams phase conjugation loop scheme based on phot orefractive crystals is the ''self-biting'' with the beam diameter bei ng conserved. A 1.5 times increase of the threshold of the process tha nks to the introduction of a speckle pattern into the conjugated beam is predicted.
