Spectral line narrowing up to 0.02 cm-1 for far IR hot hole Ge laser t
uned in 50 - 140 cm-1 range has been obtained by using a tunable intra
cavity frequency selector. The line narrowing is accompanied by an ess
ential increase of the spectral power density of the laser radiation.
The possibility of the frequency tuning in a wide spectral region is s
hown. The features of the frequency competition in the active medium a
re discussed.
