of cw solid,state laser with nonlinear polarization Kerr modulator. T
he ways of the mode-locking improvement by angular control of the pola
rization modulator elements hav been analyzed. The possibility to comp
ensate the self-phase modulation influence on ultrashort pulse generat
ion by introducing negative group velocity dispersion is shown.
