Abstract
A meter for exponentially falling signals is described which is used t o monitor the luminescence time of optic fibers. It can be used to mea sure the decay time of induction signals, e.g., in the case of the mag netic-field uniformity control in NMR and NCR experiments. The duratio ns measured on the 0.1U(m) level range from 100 musec to 10 msec, the repetition period is over 10 msec. The initial amplitude of the input signal is 0.5-0.7 V at a signal-to-noise ratio of over 50. The measure ment accuracy, according to the calibrator, is of the order of 0.1%.
