Abstract
A megagauss magnetic field generated by circularity polarized laser li ght is used to get confinement of a plasma contained in a good conduct or vessel. In this scheme the inertial confinement is supported by the magnetic forces and the Lawson criterion for a DT plasma might be ach ieved.
