Abstract
Low-pressure isothermal vapor-liquid equilibria (VLE) have been measur ed for binary systems of alpha-pinene or beta-pinene with anisole at 3 93.15 and 403.15 K using a Stage and Fischer equilibrium still with ci rculation in both phases. The systems, investigated in the pressure ra nge from 280 to 580 mbar, show positive deviations from Raoult's law a nd maximum pressure azeotropes. The VLE data are thermodynamically con sistent.
