Abstract
Partial molar volumes of several alpha-adamantyl beta-diketones and ad amantane were determined by density measurements. The effect of solven t and structure of the alpha-substituents and the size of the end grou ps were analyzed. Good agreement was observed between the experimental molar volumes and the values calculated by group contributions; in al l the cases the differences were less than 4%.
