Abstract
Vapor-liquid equilibrium data are reported for methyl propanoate + iso
butyl alcohol at pressures of 74.66, 101.32, and 127.99 kPa. No azeotr
opic points have been found. All the experimental data are thermodynam
ically consistent according to the point-to-point test. The data agree
with the values predicted from ASOG, UNIFAC, and SUPERFAC group contr
ibution models, with an average error of less than 15%.
