High spin states in Tc-90 have been studied via the Ni-58 (Cl-35, 2 pn
) Tc-90 reaction at beam energy of 124 MeV Twenty-six new gamma-rays w
ere observed, a new level scheme was established and spins were assign
ed. Two band-like structures were established up to about 20 HBAR with
an excitation energy of 6-7 MeV. The band (B) shows collective charac
teristic at high spin. We suggest it to be of a quasi-particle configu
ration pig9/2 x nuf5/2.
