A. Skibinski et al., DELAYED LUMINESCENCE OF CYANOBACTERIUM TOLYPOTHRIX-TENUIS ADAPTED TO GREEN AND RED RADIATION, Photosynthetica, 28(1), 1993, pp. 57-61
Absorption, fluorescence and delayed luminescence (m mus time range) o
f cyanobacterium Tolypothrix tenuis (Kutz) adapted to green (GR) and r
ed (RR) radiation and dissolved in 15% polyvinyl alcohol solutions wer
e measured. Fluorescence and delayed luminescence depended on the adap
tation to radiation and the wavelength of fluorescence excitation. Thi
s suggests that paths of deactivation of excitation in pigment-protein
complexes present in organisms adapted to GR and RR differ.
