Abstract
For alkali metal fullerene compounds (AFC), the experimental T(C) is s trongly dependent on pressure. The isotope effect exponential is alpha =0.30+/-0.06 (substitution of C-13 for C-12). T(C) of AFC is also much higher than T(C) of graphite intercalation compounds. These experimen tal results indicate that superconductivity would come from the phonon -modulated interactions between the neighboring C60 cages. The availab le experimental data may be used to deduce the universal parameters fo r the superconductivity theory. The theoretical T(C) vs. lattice param eter curve appears to be in good agreement with the experimental resul ts.
