Separation of a binary mixture by a three-step one-column pressure swi
ng adsorption process in isothermal and adiabatic cases has been studi
ed. The separation performance of the process is characterized by thre
e parameters. enrichment, recovery and productivity. It has been compa
red at various operating conditions. The evolution of the bed performa
nce from cycle to cycle and the bed dynamics at cyclic steady state ha
ve also been addressed.
