Ear. Duek et al., A SOLID-STATE ELECTROCHROMIC DEVICE BASED ON POLYANILINE, PRUSSIAN BLUE AND AN ELASTOMERIC ELECTROLYTE, Advanced materials, 5(9), 1993, pp. 650-652
Advantages of solid-state electrochemical devices are the ease of prod
uction, no possibility of leakage. and no electrolyte evaporation. One
result of the search for such a device is the electrochromic display
sketched in the Figure, which uses polyaniline and Prussian Blue as th
e active electrochromic materials and an elastomer containing Li-ClO4
as the solid-state electrolyte.
