Abstract
A new two dimensional single sided silicon strip detector using cross connected short strips interleaved with long strips has been designed. In the design the z coordinate (along the strips) can be measured by finding the crossing point of the strips. No sacrifice is necessary on the rphi coordinate resolution in the design.
