Abstract
An amorphous silicon photodiode array originally manufactured for facs imile has been applied to an imaging system for proton beam measuremen ts. We tested a Gd2O2S phosphor sheet and a CsI(Tl) scintillator strip for proton-to-light conversion to obtain good sensitivity. Proton dep th dose distribution measurements for cancer therapy are presented.
