Abstract
Tonsillectomies have been performed on a same-day basis in Coventry fo r the past three years. We report our experience with this technique w hich has gradually evolved over the last ten years. The procedure is d escribed in detail and the results of the first two years have been an alysed. In common with the experience of others, it is possible to per form tonsillectomies safely on a same-day basis.
