Abstract
Current-mode integraed circuit design leads to the use of a current re ference achieving good temperature compensation. A novel circuit is de scribed, which has good performance based on a ratiometric expression that is easily reproduced. As a bonus, the circuit acts as a PTAT (pro portional to absolute temperature) reference without any structural ch ange.
