T. Beyrich et al., INFLUENCE OF CYCLODEXTRINES ON THE CLEAVA GE OF NITROPHENYL ACETATES AND ESTERS OF NITROBENZOIC ACIDS, Die Pharmazie, 48(8), 1993, pp. 597-599
The influence of alpha-, beta- and gamma-Cyclodextrine (CD), respectiv
ely, was investigated on the cleavage of stereoisomeric nitrophenyl ac
etates and esters of nitrobenzoic acids. In spite of the different lip
ophilicity the binding is almost of the same kind, nevertheless the CD
s catalyzed the cleavage of phenolesters only. It was observed that be
ta-CD inhibited the alkylesters. The stability of binding and the clea
vage are distinct processes which are not necessarily connected.
